The Lush Obsession Continues

I don’t think there are many people who don’t love a Lush bath! I look forward to my weekly bath treat and if I can, sneak in two! But there is so much more to Lush than pretty looking and delicious smelling bath goodness.

I adore that they actively fight and campaign against animal testing. They refuse to use any products that have been tested on animals, at any point, ever. This is something they have been fighting for 40+ years and are incredibly passionate about.

But it does not stop there. They are also fighting shark finning and conducting ongoing environmental campaigns, human rights campaigns and animal campaigns.  They are making us all aware of the ugly truth’s that often we don’t even think about – and I love them for that. I hate ignorance in us humans. That ‘if I can’t see it it isn’t happening’ attitude. We all need to be aware of what is really happening in this world and come together to make a change. Lush are doing that, it is unbelievable !

For this alone, they forever have my backing and support. The fact that they make the most wonderful products is a humongous bonus!!

Here are a couple of products I have picked up recently and am <3-ing

It’s a bug-eat-bug world out there. This little cutie creates a cocoon of shimmering, creamy bubbles. It leaves you feeling fly with softening shea butter, earthy vetivert and aromatic sandalwood.

This bathbomb unlocks the door to tranquility and leaving a bouquet of flower petals in your bath this fragrant rose is the absolute bomb.

Somewhere over the rainbow Lush have been whipping up a sunny-scented soap to bring a little springtime to your home.  Wash with a chunk of the rainbow and allow your troubles to melt like lemon drops when you catch a whiff of that mood-enhancing neroli. A touch of rose absolute and Sicilian mandarin oil and you’re ready to rise and shine.

Prep your lips with a buff and polish at the start of your make-up routine to ensure your lipstick glides on and stays put. Just apply with a clean finger, and let the exfoliating caster sugar and softening jojoba oil scrub away dead skin and infuse moisture to rejuvenate your smile. Bubblegum lip scrub won’t leave any greasy residue; just a sweet candy taste that you’ll enjoy licking off. Lip-smackingly good. Really. I am obsessed!!

My only disappointment with Lush is that not all of the Easter products are in The Dubai stores. I am desperate for the bath carrots and bunnies… but they didn’t have any in stock… didums!!
